Episode description: Milk paint often adorned Shaker furniture. Why? Because Shakers liked a space to be balanced and perfect. Color was often the only way to take ordinary wood and turn it into extraordinary woodworking. Raised panel doors are perfect when painted to reveal shadow lines.
