Episode description: Arthur Miller, a professor of law at Harvard University, moderates a panel of physicians, medical and science professionals, politicians, and journalists as they discuss hypothetical scenarios for reacting to and defending against infectious bacteria and disease. While developing a plan of action to contain an imagined outbreak, the panelists debate the roles of the media, the medical establishment, government, and various public agencies.
