Episode description: Tom Brokaw, former anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News, discusses his book Boom! Voices of the Sixties: Personal Reflections on the '60s and Today. It examines the tumultuous decade of the 1960s to explore how famous people, ordinary citizens, and the national mindset were all affected by that time of unforgettable change. He is interviewed by Rick Atkinson, Washington Post reporter and Pulitzer Prize winner for his book An Army at Dawn. A KET production taped at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville.
