Episode description: In the heat of the social changes of the 1960s, rural Texas Pentecostal/Baptist minister Curtis Boyd relinquished the pulpit and became a doctor. In the years before the Roe v. Wade decision, he provided thousands of safe but illegal abortions. Today, he works with a group of east Texas clergy to defend the idea that all women have the right to a safe abortion. [cc]
