Episode description: Anthony tries to have women's right to suffrage acknowledged in the courts, but her effort fails. The movement returns to Congress, and a California senator introduces an amendment to the Constitution—which also fails, miserably. Women finally get the vote 45 years later, after both Stanton's and Anthony's deaths. [cc]
