Episode description: A look at what it takes to mount a theatrical production, both on and off the stage, and to operate a theater company. Designed for middle and high school students, this 2001 KET production explains the functions of directors, producers, actors, technicians, and front-of-house staff members in staging plays and attracting and serving an audience. Located near Mammoth Cave, Horse Cave Theatre (since renamed the Kentucky Repertory Theatre at Horse Cave) is a leading regional theater company. [cc]
