Episode description: Chronicles the contributions made by York, Captain William Clark's African-American slave, to the Lewis and Clark expedition as well as the creation of a sculpture of York by Louisville artist Ed Hamilton. York became the first black man to cross the continent north of Mexico. A 2003 production of Louisville MetroTV.
