Episode description: In 2003, the University of Kentucky created the Center for Research on Violence Against Women as a way to advance research, not just for the sake of science, but with a goal to improve the lives of women in the Commonwealth and around the globe. This documentary blends scientific discussions of research conducted at the University of Kentucky with women's stories of surviving violence.
