A rare scientist who spoke with the voice of a poet, Eiseley is best known for The Immense Journey, The Unexpected Universe, and an autobiography entitled All the Strange Hours. Pulitzer Prize-winning writer N. Scott Momaday reads Eiseley's words, and actress Julie Harris narrates.
