Episode description: Explores the life and legacy of the best-selling author of The Outlaw Josey Wales and The Education of Little Tree. Billed as an autobiographical story about an orphaned Native American boy, Little Tree was later revealed as complete fabrication. The author was actually white supremacist and Ku Klux Klan leader Asa Earl Carter, who penned the book under the name Forrest Carter.
