Episode description: Visit the farm home of Charles Thomson, the secretary to all the Constitutional Congresses which took place in Philadelphia. Thomson was influential in helping to forge the Declaration of Independence as well as the Constitution. Thomas Jefferson, a close friend, loved to ride out to Harriton House after a long day of debating. Chef Staib prepares shrimp in saffron cream, and marinated asparagus with fennel puree in the Harriton House kitchen.
