Episode description: A vivid account of a strike by Mexican-American migrant farmworkers in Raymondville, a small town nestled in the Rio Grande Valley, examines race, class, and corruption in south Texas. In 1979, a group of Mexican Americans—Raymondville's majority population—demonstrated their outrage at unequal treatment by protesting against the small but influential group of white farmers who controlled the town.
