Louisville Orchestra Associate Conductor Robert Franz, composer Lawrence Dillon, and Kentucky author George Ella Lyon explore the connections between the process of writing a story and the process of composing a piece of music in this 2001 KET production. Joined by the members of a student audience, they discuss the common elements of character, setting, and conflict/resolution and illustrate, through words and music, how they create these elements and weave them into a whole.
