Live, Interactive Q&A with Ken Burns

Classrooms across the U.S. are invited to join presenting partners PBS Education, ITVS, National History Day, and WETA on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 12:30PM ET for a live, streaming-only event featuring filmmaker Ken Burns, director of the PBS documentary, The Vietnam War. During the interactive discussion, Ken will offer an in-depth look at the Vietnam War era through his latest documentary while sharing personal, behind-the-scenes insights into his experience working with U.S. and Vietnamese veterans.

Throughout the conversation, students and teachers can pose questions to Ken, participate in polls, and screen segments fromThe Vietnam War film. This event will offer vital perspectives on the War and give students a chance to immerse themselves in one of the most consequential, divisive, and controversial events in American history.
