New Learn at Home webinar series

As Kentucky parents, students and teachers continue to discover new ways to learn while working from home, KET Education is pleased to announce a new series of short webinars designed to take a deeper look at some of our favorite tools and resources. The series begins on Tuesday, April 21 at 4/3 pm and continues each Tuesday and Thursday. Following each live session, webinars will be archived on the KET Education website. Additional webinars will be added here each week.

One Assignment: Kentucky Families Recording History Now

Journals and diaries give an insider’s view to historic events, and we are living one now. Explore how to record yours and your family’s experiences in this unique time, the changes and challenges, the good moments. Also hear from Kristen Koch, a social studies teacher at Bourbon Co. Middle School, on how she has used journaling to help students deal with their experiences and contribute to our historic record. Several methods of journaling will be discussed and writing prompts, including those for young children, will be provided. No need to register. Just click the link below when the webinar begins.

Family and Community Engagement for Summer

Looking for family and community engagement resources for this summer? Join KET to explore multimedia resources that support science and literacy development, designed for use in after-school and out-of-school settings. We will also share the Family and Community Learning model for multi-generational hands-on family engagement designed to support science and literacy development among children and families.
