Abstraction: Nancy Cassell

Artist Nancy Cassell talks about the importance of landscape, nature, and place to her as well as the influence of the Surrealists and Abstract Expressionists. She says that she tries to capture movement in her landscapes and discusses why she is drawn to working in black and white. Note: She mentions the sexuality in her work, which may make this segment appropriate for more mature students.
