Media Arts: Illuminated Art

Expand your classroom’s art horizons through the resources in the Media Arts: Illuminated Art collection. Showcased are nine art installations from BLINK, a Cincinnati festival of art and light.

The emerging art forms featured in this collection include projection mapping, where buildings and objects are turned into a display surface for videos, as well as a walk-through luminarium, illuminated dioramas and puppets, and more. Each resource includes a background essay, suggested questions to prompt classroom discussion and analysis, and activities to help your students imagine and create their own illuminated art.
