Mental Health During the COVID-19 Pandemic Course

In this self-paced course, educators take a comprehensive look at mental health issues in students, updated with resources for the coronavirus pandemic. Topics include depression and anxiety, trauma and toxic stress, and mental health interventions. It teaches educators how to listen and to foster connections and a sense of safety to help students, both in-person and online. At the end of the course, learners earn a Certificate of Completion for one and a half hours of PD and EILA credit. This course is available from July 1 – June 30 each school year, with all coursework for that term to be completed by June 30th.
