Kentucky Life

Mineral Museums/Ms. Wheelchair America/Stagecoach

26:29 | #507 | TV-G

Two collections—one at the University of Kentucky and the other at the Clement Mineral Museum in Marion—showcase stunning examples of the variety of minerals found beneath Kentucky's soil. Terri Cecil-Ramsey of Louisville, injured in a car accident several years ago, encourages others to adopt sports as part of their rehabilitation. And a hand-built stagecoach from days gone by, complete with an occasional rogue outlaw, takes travelers between Bardstown and Hodgenville. A 1999 KET production hosted by Byron Crawford.
