Results are in: a recent evaluation report conducted by Arroyo Research Services confirms that 9 out of 10 students who used KET’s Fast Forward GED® test-preparation system to study for and take all four sections of the GED® exam earned a credential. The 90 percent pass rate for Fast Forward users is 11 percentage points higher than the national average for 2015, according to GED Testing Service®.
Launched in 2014, Fast Forward is an online, computer-based GED® test-preparation system that is highly interactive, allowing students to work at their own pace and design a learning plan tailored to their specific needs.
The Arroyo report surveyed learners who used the Fast Forward courses, with many sharing positive feedback on the “user-friendly” nature of the system, including the individualized study plans for each subject area. The survey found that 84% of learners were either likely or very likely to suggest Fast Forward to a friend or colleague.
“KET has long been a nationally recognized leader in providing exceptional test-prep to adult learners,” said Shae Hopkins, KET’s executive director and CEO. “The impressive success rate of our newest system, Fast Forward, offers tangible evidence of its high quality. We are pleased Fast Forward is helping learners succeed in their goals for a brighter future.”
“The KET Fast Forward product is a great tool and resource, not only in Kentucky, but across the nation. We are extremely fortunate in Kentucky to have KET,” said Reecie Stagnolia, vice president for Kentucky Adult Education, a part of the Council on Postsecondary Education.
