Kathy Brauer of Henderson honored by Friends of KET board with O. Leonard Press Award

Kathy Brauer of Henderson was recently honored by The Friends of KET Board with the O. Leonard Press Award. The honor recognizes an individual who has provided exemplary volunteer service and demonstrated commitment to KET’s educational mission.
A retired educator, Brauer has been a champion for lifelong learning and supporter for KET educational services and quality programming for many years.
“When Kathy Brauer talks about having used KET’s Award-winning News Quiz in her classroom in Henderson, it brings it all full circle,” said Julie Schmidt, KET’s senior director of external affairs. “We’re grateful for her passion and faithful support for KET.”
