The intensive care unit (ICU) is where a hospital cares for its sickest patients. On this episode of Kentucky Health, Dr. Wayne Tuckson talks with Dr. Kandis Adkins, critical care specialist at UofL Health, about how ICUs save lives and return patients to health.
