For Release: 10/03/22 8:00 AM

The cost of medical care is one reason some people turn to over-the-counter medications that appear to be equivalent to those that require a prescription.

On this episode of Kentucky Health, host Dr. Wayne Tuckson talks with Dr. Angela Sandlin, pharmacy director at Baptist Health La Grange, to help us understand the world of over-the-counter medications, discussing the supplements, minerals and vitamins available and examining what’s safe and effective for home use.
