‘Kentucky Life’ spotlights composer Julia Perry, a satellite developed at Morehead State University, Quilts of Valor and the old Raceland racetrack

The next episode of Kentucky Life celebrates the work of composer Julia Perry; the work the Morehead State University Space Science Center, which is launching a lunar satellite through NASA that will be controlled from Mission Operations Center on campus; Quilts of Valor, in which volunteers create quilts for veterans; and Raceland, a bygone Kentucky racetrack that’s still remembered by its community nearly 100 years after its last races were run.

Kentucky Life airs Saturday, June 4, at 8/7 pm on KET, and on Monday, June 6, at 7/6 pm on KET2.
