‘Muhammad Ali’ documentary by Ken Burns returns to KET for encore airing

Muhammad Ali, the eight-hour documentary by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon, returns to KET this month for an encore airing. The entire series also will be available for streaming until Feb. 28, 2022, at KET.org/Ali.

Muhammad Ali airs on Friday nights, from Jan. 28 – Feb. 18, at 9:30/8:30 pm on KET and also on Sunday nights, from Jan. 30 – Feb. 20, at 8/7 pm on KET2.

The eight-hour documentary, shown in four parts, chronicles the life of Louisville’s most famous son who become heavyweight champion and ultimately one of the world’s most recognizable and controversial sports figures of his era. The film first aired on KET in September of 2021.
