New season of ‘Kentucky Health’ discusses latest advancements in medical care

Kentucky Health, KET’s weekly discussion of health and medicine in the Commonwealth, kicks off a new season in October.

The new season of Kentucky Health premieres Sunday, Oct. 3, at 12:30 pm/11:30 am on KET and on Monday, Oct. 11, at 2/1 pm on KET2.

The program, hosted by Dr. Wayne Tuckson, M.D., opens the new season with guest Angela Sandlin, PharmD, Pharmacy Director at Baptist Health LaGrange, who talks about medications and their safety, availability and effectiveness.

Later programs will delve into such subjects as carotid artery disease, glaucoma, migraines, environmental pollution and lung cancer treatments.
