A course for middle and high school teachers designed to strengthen their knowledge of American history, from the Pre-Columbian era through Reconstruction, while exploring the process of historical research and analysis. Each video program includes an overview of the historical era; a Faces of America segment in which biographies of individuals illustrate larger events; and a behind-the-scenes look at how history is studied, documented, and presented.
