Arguing the World

In 1930, four young radicals formed an intellectual clique at City College in New York. This documentary chronicles a reunion of the four in which they freely and passionately share their ideas and express their opinions on life, literature, and politics. Political essayist Irving Kristol, literary critic Irving Howe, social theorist Daniel Bell, and sociologist Nathan Glazer reflect on the events in their lives which shaped their thinking and on workld history from Marx and Stalin to Reagan and Bush.
