Charles Banks Wilson, Portrait of an American Artist

At 88, Fayetteville, NC artist Charles Banks Wilson still awakes early every morning to draw and paint. In the 1950s, he worked out of a studio in Miami, OK, painting pureblood Native Americans. By Wilson's own count, he has painted members of approximately 150 different tribes of that can trace their lineage back to a common ancestral people.
