Students from seven public elementary and middle schools in Washington, DC work with professional teaching artists to design and participate in all aspects of Into the Woods, Jr., which kicked off the Kennedy Center's professional tribute to the work of Stephen Sondheim. The students build the sets, design the costumes, and are cast in the production.
