A behind-the-scenes look at the 2003 North American Rock Guitar Competition follows the finalists-Mark Krurnowski, Amherst, NY; Andrew Roudny, Toronto, Ontario; Boobie Browne, Montreal, Quebec; Dave King, Liverpool, NY; and Ned Evett, Boise, ID-as they prepare for the competition and then perform in front of judges, music industry reps, and a sold-out crowd at the University of Buffalo. Others interviewed include contest organizers; competitors' family members; and the panel of judges, which included Canadian guitar legend Rik Emmett and Sid McGinnis from The Late Show with David Letterman.
