Fate Did Not Let Me Go

During World War II, Valli Ollendorff wrote a letter to her beloved son from the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp, defying her surroundings with an uplifting message of love, faith, preservation, gratitude, and hope. Mailed in August 1942, the letter was not discovered until nearly 50 years later-when her son was 79 years old. Martin Sheen and Liv Ullman narrate the story of this remarkable letter and its remarkable writer.
