This new animated children's series follows the adventures of the irrepressible Anne Shirley, whose independent spirit and impetuous nature makes Avonlea an exciting place to live. The well-loved characters of Avonlea are all on hand-Gilbert Blythe, Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, Diana Barry and Rachel Lynde-but so too are fairies, wood nymphs and goblins; all products of Anne's fertile imagination. Children will be enchanted as Anne leads her friends into exciting escapades, including landing on the wrong side of a witch and letting her weekly allowance get out of hand-WAY out of hand.
