For most children, entering school means dealing with large numbers of other people for the first time. These seven programs for kindergarten and early elementary students, inspired by children's books, provide an introduction to emotions and interpersonal relationships and advice on getting along with others, from coping with bossiness or selfishness to handling feelings of anger or exclusion.
