A time-travel drama in which a 1990s TV repairman accidentally discovers a way to transport himself back to 1940 and wartime England. He falls in love with a woman from the past and finds himself torn between her and his wife in the present. As he spends more and more time in the 1940s, he also finds himself tempted to try to tinker with history.
