A group of passionately concerned San Francisco Bay residents staged demonstrations to protest the awarding of Ohio's electoral votes in the 2004 presidential election. Then they met with Sen. Barbara Boxer's aides and succeeded in convincing her to become the lone senator to oppose the results.
