A documentary exploring the hidden life of Muslims living in the heart of the Bible Belt. Interviews with local Muslims along with comments by Yvonne Haddad of Georgetown University and others combine with scenic footage of the Appalachian mountains in all seasons to provide the viewer with a portrait of Islam's presence, contributions, and tensions with modern Appalachian life. The program explores the ways in which minority status affects individual faith and community life.
