Broadway legends celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of musical genius Richard Rodgers, composer of Oklahoma!, South Pacific, and The Sound of Music, among others. Howard Keel, Shirley Jones, John Raitt, and Rita Moreno are joined by Joshua Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Audra McDonald, Sylvia McNair, and Samuel Ramey to sing Rodgers' songs, with Leonard Slatkin conducting the National Symphony Orchestra. The performances are accentuated with clips from films of Rodgers' works and interviews with the stars, all recalling the inspiration that was Richard Rodgers.
