Run Like a Girl

At 9 and 10, they are skipping, grinning little girls-rough and ready to go. By 15, they're sullen, submissive, quiet and convinced that they are awkward, ugly and fat. What happens to them? This program explores how teenage athletes try to find a balance between strength and femininity within a society where girls are expected to be docile, delicate, and compliant.
