The United States leads the industrialized world in the incidence of many sexually transmitted diseases, and the Southeastern states lead the U.S. But many STDs are easily detected, and most are treatable. This documentary defines both the medical and social dimensions of the problem and looks closely at two successful initiatives in Georgia and South Carolina for possible solutions.
