In 1898, the U.S.S. Maine was anchored off Havana, Cuba when the battleship mysteriously exploded, killing most of the crew and sparking the Spanish-American War. More than 100 years later, an international team of scientists set out to find the wreck on the ocean floor and determine the cause of the explosion.
