Students from Torrance, CA research the life and times of Tech. Sgt. Ted Tanouye (1919-1944), a distinguished alumnus of their school who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic service during World War II. Tanouye fought loyally overseas and was later killed in the line of duty, even as his family was being relocated to internment camps.
