Solutions to Appalachia’s economic and health problems–from the local food movement to broadband expansion to tourism–were featured in the 2016 SOAR Innovation Summit on June 6 in Pikeville. Kentucky Congressman Hal Rogers and Gov. Matt Bevin were among the featured speakers. “It’s time for us to get off the sidelines and into the game,” said Rogers.
