Preview Event: Voyager Mission Documentary

You’re invited to a preview screening of “The Farthest—Voyager in Space.”
This documentary premieres on KET in August and tells of one of humanity’s greatest achievements in exploration: NASA’s Voyager mission, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

Twin spacecraft — each with less computing power than a cell phone — visited Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. They sent back data that revolutionized our understanding of the outer planets and their many moons. In 2012, Voyager 1 left our solar system and ushered humanity into the interstellar age. Watch a 2-minute preview.

The planetarium at Eastern Kentucky University is offering a free preview screening of this fascinating documentary. Registration is required.
