Using computer animation, this six-part high school series introduces quadratic equations and their corresponding functions on the Cartesian plane. Several equations with different coefficients are solved, graphed, and compared. Methods for finding the roots of a quadratic equation are explored, including graphing, factoring two binomials, completing the square, and the general quadratic formula. Complex numbers are presented, and the results of discovering complex roots for a quadratic are shown.
