Examples from around the country show educational success stories in action-communities and school models that have significantly raised student performance and closed achievement gaps for minority and poor students. The examples cited affect more than a million students in seven different school districts from coast to coast, from inner cities to rural America, and include a Corbin campaign to keep kids from dropping out through an emphasis on real-life, hands-on learning.
