Black History Month Programming
January 30, 2019 - To honor Black History Month, and as part of our commitment to celebrate the diversity of America year-round, KET will air a collection of documentaries and specials that highlight the African-American experience throughout the month of February.
PBS LearningMedia unveils new, more accessible website
September 4, 2018 - PBS LearningMedia has unveiled a new website, making thousands of digital resources – including many created by KET – more accessible to educators and students across Kentucky. In response to teachers’ needs, the new features include simple browsing by curriculum area, state/national standards and grade; improved search functionality; a refreshed look and easier access to KET resources.
DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR THE 2018 YOUNG WRTERS CONTEST
March 30, 2018 - Students in kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to submit stories and poems for the 2018 KET Young Writers Contest. The contest, which runs January 1 through March 30, encourages students in KET’s viewing area to celebrate the power of crafting stories, poems and illustrations by submitting their own, original work.
