August 13, 2019 - The Media Arts Toolkit is now available! KET has traveled the state documenting Kentucky teachers and students creating podcasts, films, songs, comic books, as well as flying drones and using augmented reality. The toolkit has tips on how to bring media arts into the K-12 classroom no matter your budget or skill level.
Kentucky Teachers attend Arts Academy at KET
June 26, 2019 - Teachers from across Kentucky are at KET Network Center in Lexington June 24-28 for this year’s Academy for Arts Assessment and Technology. A total of 27 teachers from the arts and other disciplines are taking part. Th academy is sponsored by the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in partnership with KET.
Announcing the winners of the 2019 Young Writers Contest
June 6, 2019 - KET is pleased to announce the winners of its 2019 Young Writers Contest. The annual contest encourages creative expression and literacy development by inviting students in kindergarten through twelfth grade to submit original illustrated stories, short stories and poetry.
