Announcing the winners of the 2019 Young Writers Contest
June 6, 2019 - KET is pleased to announce the winners of its 2019 Young Writers Contest. The annual contest encourages creative expression and literacy development by inviting students in kindergarten through twelfth grade to submit original illustrated stories, short stories and poetry.
Arts Academy at KET
April 8, 2019 - How do you assess student creative work using artistic criteria? How do we get beyond rubrics that focus on effort, following directions, and completion of project? This five-day Academy will devote one day for each art form (drama, music, dance, visual arts, and new media). KET will also introduce teachers to ways to incorporate technology with performances and art work.
KET’s Media Lab Wins NETA Award
March 11, 2019 - KET’s Media Lab was recently honored with a NETA (National Educational Telecommunications Association) Award for Instructional Media-Engaged Learning. KET's Media Lab introduces students to important college and career-ready skills to assist them in becoming successful and responsible content creators.
