Welcome to Electronic Field Trips

Video cameras can peer into a horse stall to show a foal being born, or show the different stages of an apple as it goes from tree, to store shelf, to pie. That’s the idea behind the Kentucky Educational Television’s Electronic Field Trips. KET video production teams are joined by learning faculty to go on-site to highlight educational resources from afar and closer to home. The information is delivered directly into classrooms and to the home computers of students ranging from elementary school through high school.

“The camera can often go where the students can’t, or capture events as they happen over time.”
