Chronicles a one-week musical summit meeting in 1999 that fused jazz, pop, Latin, rock, and R&B sounds. Artists including Bonnie Raitt, Gladys Knight, Mick Fleetwood, Joan Osborne, Peter Frampton, and Jimmy Buffett traveled to Cuba, drew names from a hat in a musical lottery, and then composed and recorded original songs in English and Spanish with some of Cuba's finest musicians. On the last night, they performed the music at the National Theater in Havana.
