Cellular Respiration

Using computer animation, this six-part high school instructional series illustrates the biological processes by which cells convert glucose into energy. The series begins by examining the essential fuels and machinery used by a cell to sustain itself. Glucose is then broken down through glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation. Finally, the connections between the processes of cellular respiration and nutrition are examined.
